CHILDREN’S AUDITIONS

ROOM 21- LOCATED ON THE SECOND FLOOR OF CVSM.

ALL children will be asked to sing a short song, “Happy Birthday” will be fine for our younger children. Please prepare a one minute monologue or for our younger children, please prepare a short story or joke to share with the casting panel. Please bring a resume (if you have one) and a picture. An accompanist will be provided.

Friedrich von Trapp – Male, Early Teen (14)

Tough exterior, very much trying to be “the man” of the family.

Louisa von Trapp – Female, Early Teen (13)

Rebellious attitude. Misses her mother.

Kurt von Trapp – Male, Child (10)

Strong Falsetto Gentle, and mischievous.

Brigitta von Trapp – Female, Child (9)

Smart, and reads a lot.

Marta von Trapp – Female, Child (7)

Quiet, Sweet, Gentle

Gretl von Trapp – Female, Youngest Child (5)

Adorable and innocent.

Rehearsals begin May 31, 2022. Performances are June 17 through July 3

All children will receive a weekly stipend during rehearsals and performances.
