Dr. Wesley Fugate - Board Chair

Dr. Wesley R. Fugate is the 20th president of Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA and co-producer of the new musical, Burlesque, which aims for a 2025 opening in London’s West End.

College has reached record enrollments and five years of balanced budgets. The alumni and friends of the College have responded to his leadership by setting an annual fund record for most dollars raised in a year and the highest number of consecutive years of the annual fund being over $1 million, currently at five. The success of the We Rise campaign has led to the third and fourth highest giving years in the history of the College, surpassing the campaign’s original goal in less than two years.

Currently, Fugate is a member of the board of directors for the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania (AICUP), Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce, EIIA, the Association of Presbyterian Colleges and Universities, and the United East Athletic Conference, and he is a member of the President’s Advisory Group for NCAA Division III.

Having earned a bachelor’s degree in dramatic arts and economics, his passion for theatre can be seen in his service as the past president of the Endstation Theatre Company board of directors, and a past member of the Jenny Wiley Theatre and the Kentucky Theatre Association Boards of Directors.

extensively to over 16 countries experiencing many wonderful cultures.  While raising her three children in North Carolina, she actively engaged in every aspect of backstage theatre life, specifically lights, sound, costumes, props, set building, and fundraising at Cape Fear Regional Theatre for over 15 years. Also, she has directed or assisted on numerous young children theatre productions.  Finally, she is an avid theatre goer who believes live theatre is essential to every community!

Over the past twelve years, Jim has earned numerous industry certifications and accreditations including the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.  Jim enjoys being involved in the community and currently serves as a board member and Treasurer for the Adams County Community Foundation.  Jim and his wife Kelly currently reside in Fayetteville with their daughter Audrey and son Vance.  Jim joined the Totem Pole Board of Directors in 2019.

Issac Bucher - Board Member

Isaac Bucher, a Gettysburg native, is owner of Mister Ed’s Elephant Museum and Candy Emporium in Orrtanna. igh School, Lebanon County (2008 Lebanon County Teacher of the Year), Isaac moved home to become general manager of Mister Ed’s in 2008. He and his wife purchased Mister Ed’s in 2014. He enjoys hosting community events for children and meeting customers from across the country.

In addition to the Totem Pole Playhouse board, Isaac is a Gettysburg Adams Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, committee chair for Taste of the Town Gettysburg, elder at Lower Marsh Creek Presbyterian Church and member of the Adams County Young Professionals.

Isaac was introduced to Totem Pole Playhouse more than a decade ago and was impressed by the professional performances of unique theater in his own backyard. An avid theater-goer, Isaac loves taking quick trips to NYC as well as traveling the world with his wife Nicole and son Larkin.

Mary Ann Ober - Board Member

After a 20 year retirement in NC, Mary Ann and her spouse returned to Pennsylvania.  As a result of multiple hurricanes, she was looking for a place higher than 11 feet above sea level.  A gift of season tickets to Totem Pole Playhouse from her daughter aroused her interest in this gem in south central Pennsylvania.

the Department of Labor and Industry retiring as the manager of an unemployment compensation Quality Control Program. The  Department of Labor provided her with numerous management courses and training while employed there.  In NC, she was involved in many activities including as a director of the local yacht club and a leader in numerous civic organizations as well as having been chosen as Volunteer of the Year at the local hospital.
For the past 2 years she has been a volunteer usher and bus greeter at Totem Pole Playhouse and has enjoyed promoting the playhouse and the great performances.

Niki Hinckle - Board Member

Niki Hinckle is Senior Vice President of the West Region for WellSpan Health.  She is responsible for WellSpan Health’s strategy and operations across Adams, Cumberland and Franklin counties.   Prior to this role, she served across WellSpan’s service area as the Vice President of Diagnostic Services and previously held several positions in the healthcare field.

p style="font-weight: 400;">Niki holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and an MBA from Frostburg University.  She is a fellow with the American College of Medical Practice Executives and a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders.  She is advanced lean certified through Virginia Mason Institute and a certified professional coder.  In addition to The Totem Pole, she serves on the Noah’s House Board and the Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce Board.

Niki and her husband, Tyson recently moved to Greencastle, PA and have two grown sons and two beautiful granddaughters.  When Niki is not at work she enjoys outdoor concerts, the beach and spending time with her family.

Lisa Hogue is a native to Chambersburg who graduated from CASHS. As an adolescent, she had the opportunity to live abroad in Italy for 3 years as a military dependent.  Lisa was able to immerse herself in their culture. Kevin L. Schoenberger - Board Member

Kevin L. burg, the Tuscarora Education Foundation, the Mercersburg Area Community Chorus,  the Tuscarora Youth Soccer Club and is the recipient of the 2018 “Business Person of the Year” award from the Tuscarora Chamber of Commerce.   Kevin’s earliest memories of Totem Pole is sitting in the audience as a child as his father played drums in “the pit” for the many musicals.  Some 40 plus years later he is honored to serve on the Totem Pole Board of Directors to assure that the theater will be here for many generations to come.

Robin has competed in several cooking competitions throughout the country and enjoys all aspects of the culinary world.  She and husband Matt and two sons reside in McConnellsburg and have been a part of numerous Totem Pole performances over the past 10 years.  Her fondest memories of Totem Pole Playhouse were watching her young sons perform on the stage at this Franklin County treasure.  She enjoys working to preserve and promote live theatre, foster community theatre support, and help to pave the road for a bright future for Totem Pole Playhouse.
