We Haven’t Forgotten About You!

Dear loyal Subscribers, Patrons and Friends of Totem Pole Playhouse:
In March of 2020 no one could have predicted the affect Covid 19 would have on all our lives nearly a year later.
Reflecting over the past year’s journey at Totem Pole:
We had hoped to simply postpone our 2020 season to later in the summer. That hope was shattered. It became apparent Covid 19 was not going to allow any productions in 2020. We then hoped to simply move the 2020 season to 2021. It disappointed and hurt us deeply to postpone the entire season, along with our production of A Christmas Carol at the Majestic Theater in Gettysburg.
This has been a year like no other. The entertainment industry has
been completely shut down. We know many of our patrons had to halt their careers, as well. As difficult as it has been, the pandemic also prompted courage and ingenuity throughout our community. Now, that we find ourselves on the precipice of our 2021 season, it is our deepest desire to bring you quality entertainment as safely as possible. It is our hope by this time next year, and perhaps even sooner, we will be planning for a full season, in the theatre! Every step we have taken has been under the guidance of Local, State and Federal Mandates, CDC guidelines, and our own conscience. Your patience and understanding is heartwarming, and appreciated beyond all measure.

My producing partners and I share the goal of mounting top-notch professional productions for all to enjoy for many seasons to come. We eagerly await a time when we are all in the theatre again. Until then, please join us this year for our 2021 fun-filled reimagined season of events! We look forward to seeing you all, it has been too long!
