Totem Pole Playhouse announces a brand new Summer Subscription Series of FIVE amazing full-stage productions: SHEAR MADNESS featuring Shane Partlow from this year’s Academy Award-winning Best Picture, Green Book; return of the hugely popular bluegrass gospel musical, SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN; the stage version of Meryl Streep’s 2017 Academy Award and Golden Globe nominated movie Florence Forster Jenkins, SOUVENIR, co-starring voice teacher to the Broadway stars and Cincinnati Conservatory of Music Professor, Patricia Linhart, and veteran Broadway actor, Bob Walton, who has appeared in 5 Broadway productions including the multiple Tony Award-winning musical The Drowsy Chaperone; THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS, the Tony Award nominated Best Musical and classic 1980’s smash hit Dolly Parton & Burt Reynolds movie, starring Branson, Missouri veteran performer, Miranda Jane; closing out the series will be Totem Pole Playhouse audience favorite, Granville “Sonny” Van Dusen,  the Father of the Bride in Lewis Black’s comedy, One Slight Hitch, and star of critically-acclaimed, The Memoirs of Abraham Lincoln, starring in WRONG TURN AT LUNGFISH, written by legendary Hollywood director Garry Marshall, who gave us such cinema classics as Pretty Woman, Beaches, Runaway Bride and The Princess Diaries. All five production will be presented at the historic Totem Pole Playhouse in Caledonia State Park, Fayetteville, PA. The three plays in the series will be produced by Totem Pole and the two musicals will be produced by Theatre A Go-Go, Inc., the nationally recognized theatrical production company who produced Forever Plaid at the Playhouse in 2016 and most recently Jesus Christ Superstar at the Capital Theatre in downtown Chambersburg, PA.
