Want to Help in Ways Other Than Donating?
Totem Pole Playhouse runs on community generosity — and not just through financial gifts. In-kind donations make an enormous difference in keeping our budget manageable and our productions running smoothly. Here are a few ways you can help:
1. Automobiles
We always need fresh “very used cars” to transport our artists and staff. We rely on 8–10 vehicles each season, and our fleet of clunkers is quickly turning into a fleet of lemons!
If you have an older car you’re ready to part with, please consider donating it to Totem Pole. As long as it’s safe and runs, it doesn’t need to be pretty. You’ll receive a tax-deductible donation letter and our endless gratitude.
2. Housing
Housing our visiting artists costs nearly $85,000 each year — sometimes more. If you have a rental property, guest house, or even a private room with a bath you’d consider donating or renting at a reduced rate, we’d love to talk.
Most artists stay for about five weeks, and you’ll receive a tax letter for your contribution.
️ 3. Storage Space
We have to store sets, costumes, props, tools, supplies, and more — and it all takes room!
If you have extra warehouse space, a garage, or storage building, your donation could make a huge difference. We’ll gladly provide a tax letter in return.
4. Gift Cards
We regularly shop for materials and supplies at places like Rutters, Lowe’s, Walmart, and Ollie’s. If you have unused or unwanted gift cards (especially around the holidays), consider donating them — they go a long way in keeping our operations moving.
5. Storage & Organization Supplies
We’re always in need of storage bins, garage shelving, rolling racks, and drawers. If it helps organize a workspace, odds are we can use it!
6. Paper & Printing
We once had a generous paper sponsor who has since ended their program. If you can donate reams of paper, printing access, or similar materials, it’s a huge help — and you’ll be recognized in our program and receive a tax letter for your donation.
