Giving Spree is Nov. 5!
This year’s Adams County Community Foundation Giving Spree is set for Friday, Nov. 5. The event will be virtual again this year, and you’ll have several ways to support your favorite local nonprofits:
  • You can mail your donation form and check (made out to: Adams County Community Foundation or ACCF and dated on or before Nov. 5) directly to the Community Foundation at 25 S. Fourth St., Gettysburg PA 17325. Donation forms will become available shortly.
  • You can make your gift online between 12:01 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Nov. 5.
  • You can drop off your gift at the Gettysburg Times, 1570 Fairfield Rd., between 1 and 5 p.m. on Nov. 5.
Please note: If you’d like to make a gift from your IRA for 2021, keep in mind that these transfers take some advanced planning—the Community Foundation suggests you reach out to them now to start the process. Note that to count as part of the Giving Spree, gifts from your IRA must be received no later than Nov. 5.
The Adams County Community Foundation’s 2020 Giving Spree raised over $2 million to benefit nonprofits across Adams County! The goal is to raise even more this year!

The first thing to know about Target Circle is that it is a loyalty program offered by Target
Corporation. The Community Giving Program is the program which provides Target
Circle members the opportunity to earn and cast votes to help direct Target’s charitable
giving among participating Nonprofits. Nonprofits are the nonprofit organizations
selected by Target to participate in the Community Giving Program. Donation is the
charitable donation Target makes to fund Grants to Nonprofits as part of the Community
Giving Program.
Target’s designated allocation of the Donation among the Nonprofits in each Community
Giving Program is based on the percentage of votes each Nonprofit receives during the
applicable Voting Period for that Community Giving Program.
Grants are distributed to Nonprofits as part of each Community Giving Program
approximately 60 days following the end of the applicable Voting Period.
Enrolling In Target Circle
Guests in participating markets can enroll in the Giving Program for free. There are three
easy ways to sign up for Target Circle:
1. Sign up at target.com/circle
2. Download the Target app
3. Provide phone number at checkout
Earning Votes
Guests earn one vote every time they make an eligible purchase at Target, online and
in-store. In this regard, it’s not your typical voting program. Members earn votes as they
shop at Target.
Earning Votes In Store: At checkout, a Target Guest may scan her/his Wallet
barcode in the Target App at the time of purchase, or scan the barcode on her/his
receipt with the Target App within seven (7) days of purchase.
Earning Votes Online: To earn a vote on a Target.com or Target App purchase,
a Target guest must have joined Target Circle and be signed into their Target.com
account when they place an order.
Casting Votes
Casting votes is a completely digital experience. A Target Circle Member may login to
his/her Target account at target.com or on the mobile app and follow the prompts and
instructions to vote. Nonprofits will display in a list with each organization’s name, logo,
description, and website link.
